Meidyn's Journey Home

This is the journey, from beginning to end, of how we got our daughter home. We have not met her, she may not even be born... but she's already found a way into our hearts.

It June!

This month has flown by. My "baby" has just turned 4 years old this month and is keeping me very busy. I've also started back to school, hopeful to have my degree by the time Leila comes home, and am proud to announce I have completed my first class with a 103.24 average. Unfortunately, with the way things are looking I will be able to become a neurolic surgeon (twice) by the time we head to China. China is moving at a snails pace with referrals and we are really no futher ahead than we were 7 months ago. Our adoption agency has received their list of "waiting children" and we have requested to review 2 children's files. The probability is low that we will be chosen due to the LARGE number of waiting familys that request these files but we shall see. We just received our Secret Buddy gifts and the pictures are posted
