Meidyn's Journey Home

This is the journey, from beginning to end, of how we got our daughter home. We have not met her, she may not even be born... but she's already found a way into our hearts.

What to pack??

What do I pack? What do I need? What does the baby need? What have I forgotten? How much is too much? What size is she? What does she eat? When will I sleep? How will I survive the flight? I think I've officially hit my breaking point.

Deanna -- my mom almost cried when I showed her Ayana's picture this weekend. I know you have gone through so much in the past several years to bring your little girl home. She is yours now, legally. She has always been yours in your heart. Now you just have to travel 7,000 miles and bring her home.
I cannot image in the overload of emotions you are feeling right now. Gather strength from all of us and your family and friends in FL. Know that whatever you forget to pack you can purchase in-country. Get on that plane and go and hold that gorgeous little girl. We are thinking of you and praying for you and will well after her arrival home.
